Microfiber duster heads: hand-wash
The Amazon listing calls for hand-washing the microfiber heads. Detach the head, clean as instructed and allow it to air-dry thoroughly. Avoid assuming that every washable part can be put in a machine.
Chenille head and crevice cloth
The listing describes hand- or machine-wash options for the chenille head and crevice cloth. Confirm the instructions supplied with your kit before selecting a method. Remove textile covers from their tool or frame where applicable.
Keep handles separate from laundry
A washable textile component does not make the metal pole or every handle machine-washable. Follow the instructions for non-textile parts, and avoid leaving wet pieces enclosed in storage.
Dry before putting the kit away
Use a ventilated place and wait until all washed components are fully dry. Keep the dry pieces together in the storage bag. Inspect threaded connections and other attachment points before the next use.
Choose gentle care for the surface, too
Remove grit from a head before returning to a delicate finish. Start in an inconspicuous area and use light pressure. If a surface manufacturer calls for a different cleaning method, follow that guidance.
